​We're delighted to announce that the amazing At-Bristol will be the location for the Union Cup 2013 - Bristol opening ceremony. Voted visitor attraction of the year 2011 by the British Tourism and hospitality, they have also been listed one of VisitBritain's top family attractions, and are one of the Guardian's top 20 family -friendly museums in the UK!

For the first time ever at the Union Cup, we're going to be broadcasting a number of game commentaries live via our friends at Bristol Community FM's (BCFM), LGBT friendly show ShoutOUT.
As well as talk about the games, there will be interviews with everyone from players to backroom staff around everying on and off the field!

04/11/2012 Tournment Format

Union Cup 2013 - Bristol, will consist of 15's and 10's competions. Teams will compete in each category for a Cup, Bowl and plate.
​
Following consultation with some of the participating teams and the RFU some teams in the tournament will play uncontested scrums for health & safety reasons. We will communicate which teams these are during the draw.
​
Therefore you and your teams should plan and train for this eventuality in a limited number of your matches. The Union Cup is all about participation in rugby of as many people as possible maintaining the tournament format and rule enables this to continue.
